It comes to life from vineyards that are raised on limestone-clay soils capable of enhancing to the maximum the savory notes along with also the fruity memories: all this translates into Vermentino di Sardegna "Ambat", produced by "Sella & Mosca". A white that comes from maniacal attention, both in the vineyard with low yields per hectare and in the cellar with minimal artificial interventions focused on the enhancement of the varietal. Left to mature partly in steel and partly in French oak barriques, it is a Vermentino that is rich and complex on the one hand, but also marked by a graceful, flowing drinkability. It is an overwhelming Vermentino!
Tasting Notes: It presents itself to the eye as a beautiful straw yellow. The nose is rich and complex, marked by floral notes and hints of white-fleshed fruit, with nuances of almond and anise to round it all out. The palate is smooth and consistent at the same time, traversed by a definite sapidity and of excellent length.
Pairings: Perfect to accompany seafood dishes, it is excellent together with sole fillets sautéed in butter and tarragon.
