Olio

 

Extra virgin olive oil is produced in all regions of Italy, although the quantity varies greatly from region to region: Apulia e Calabria are in the lead, followed by Sicily, Campania e Latium. The quantity produced in Tuscany, on the other hand, is only about one-tenth of that in Puglia, while in Veneto, best known for its olive oil from the Lake Garda is well known, but production is even about 200 times less than in Calabria.
