Tenuta di Trinoro is not the result of a predetermined recipe, but of its producer's inspiration and intuition. This super-tuscan wine best interprets the characteristics of its Bordeaux varietals and the particular terroir found in this remote corner of Tuscany. Andrea Franchetti's unique style is evident in each of his vintages. Richness, concentration, depth and complexity are the cornerstones of this style. Deep ruby with rich texture. It has an ace nose, with distinct juicy notes of wild fruits, cherries, morello cherries, peony, rosehips, touches of noble vegetal, cedar and again dark tones of black olives, mentholated tobacco, balsamic resin, dark spices, a hint of cocoa and intense mineral blanket. The imposing, juicy structure is imbued with vigorous tannin and very long trail, characterized by lactic hints, licorice and fine woodiness.
