Fattoria La Braccesca covers a total area of 508 hectares and consists of two separate bodies: the historic core of the estate is located in the Montepulciano area, with 103 hectares planted in vineyards in the best subzones of Nobile di Montepulciano; the other, with 233 hectares of vineyards, is located in the foothills surrounding Cortona. The wine's name is inspired by Sabatino Lulli, known as "Sabazio," a monk of the Montepulciano abbey who first provided directions for wine production in the area in the medieval period. The first vintage of Vino Rosso di Montepulciano from La Braccesca was 1992. Ruby red. The nose is striking with fresh floral notes of violet and rose well in harmony with typical cherry sensations. The palate is fine, fresh, with silky, pleasant tannins. The finish is savory, with an aftertaste capable of recalling the aromas perceived on the nose.
