Castellare's standard-bearer, twice in Wine Spectator's Top 100, repeatedly three glasses and five bunches. Pride of the winery for being able to demonstrate the greatness of Sangiovese accompanied by Malvasia Nera. Intense ruby red. Great olfactory concentration, thanks to the presence of ripe red fruit that leads back to notes of jam, but also spices, vanilla and licorice. In the mouth, the wine is characterized by a dense and elegant texture, also supported by the important acidity of the Sangiovese, the tannins are absolutely sweet and the finish long and very persistent.
