The Trento Rosé DOC "Giulio Ferrari Riserva del Fondatore Rosé" was born from the quest for excellence, an authentic trademark for more than a century at Ferrari. Made from pinot noir grapes combined with a small percentage of chardonnay, it is the result of a slow maturation on the lees for a good 10 years. A sparkling wine that is a candidate to become the absolute icon of rosé bubbles in Italy, capable of giving us in the glass an endless series of emotions triggered by the vibrant intensity of mountain pinot noir and the freshness of chardonnay.
Tasting Notes: Bright salmon color with auburn flashes. The perlage is fine and copious. On the nose, hints of rosehips and citrus blend with notes of rhubarb, bread crust, grapefruit, wild strawberries and orange peel. All enhanced by mineral and spicy touches, and hints of caramel. In the mouth it impresses with vibrant intensity: it is silky, very elegant, structured and deep, and thanks to the fresh savory thrust it appears endless.
Pairings: A special sparkling wine that calls for refined and elegant seafood dishes. Try it with a grouper ravioli with Pachino tomato sauce.
