The property of the winery today is of the Marchesi Antinori, but its birth is due to Alfredo Prunotto, which in 1922 notes the ownership of the social cellar "to the wines of the Langhe" founded twenty years earlier. The new management and ideas of Alfredo Dedero, year after year, a great momentum to the company. On the 1954 friendly Beppe Glue in 1954, which in turn, about forty years later, sold it to the current property, the cellar never stopped growing, both qualitatively and quantitatively. Currently the Etari Vitaati are more than 60, scattered in the hills of Barolo, Barbaresco, Asti and Alba, from which almost a million bottles are produced a year. With these numbers the Prunotto winery produces a vast and very valuable range of wines.
