Tasca d'Almerita
A unique reality in the panorama not only in Sicily, that of Tasca d'Almerita is a winery that can boast a history that has its roots in the nineteenth century. There are two places that are part of this fascinating journey: Regaleali, a splendid estate in the hinterland of Palermo, and Villa Tasca, the center of Sicilian social and artistic life since the mid-17th century. The Tasca Counts, in fact, have always represented the most advanced point of a certain culture linked to doing. A way of acting that has led them to continually innovate, and to create a pole of enological excellence that still shines today. In particular, the history of Tasca d'Almerita is closely linked to its productions: starting from the "Rosso del Conte", a reserve of Nero d'Avola and perricone raised in chestnut barrels - a wine that has declared its vocation right from the start. to the enhancement of the Sicilian territory and culture - up to the "Regaleali Bianco", the first true interpreter of the purest Made in Sicily. The Tasca d'Almerita company now cultivates almost six hundred hectares of vineyards, enhancing the fruit in wines that are distributed in the five continents of the world. Added to this are the care and dedication with which the guests of two of the most beautiful resorts in Sicily are treated, not to mention the rigor with which each of the five estates belonging to the company is managed. An entrepreneurial reality, that of Tasca d'Almerita, which can count on a close-knit group of seventy men, flanked by another two hundred people who follow the rhythm of the seasons. And then here comes a range of simply excellent labels in its entirety, whether you taste the Chardonnay or the "Diamante", the "Golden Wedding" or the "Leone d'Almerita", ending with the Spumanti and the autochthonous wines. in purity, passing from the productions of Salina and Mozia. Wines that are the mirror of a company capable of truly representing the beating heart of one of the most beautiful regions of the Peninsula.
