Cusumano is one of the most important production companies in all of Sicily. The historic headquarters of the winery is located in Partinico, in the province of Palermo, and it is here that the two Cusumano brothers, Diego and Alberto, meet to discuss strategies and objectives. We are talking about a reality that exceeds two million bottles per year, and which has vineyards scattered in different parts of Sicily, for a total of 520 hectares of vineyards owned. Diego and Alberto have been managing the winery since 2001, trying to combine territory and technology, seeking an approach that combines quality and quantity, using artisanal production methods and investing heavily in communication and marketing, sectors in which, with a new creative key, they want to attract different consumer segments. A winning philosophy, which gives rise to a wide range of labels, able to represent with authenticity the different grape varieties used and the different areas of origin. Today the numbers of Cusumano show that about half of the production is exported abroad, bringing the value of "made in Italy" high to the world, and guaranteeing Sicily an advertising that leverages work, traditions and the desire to look to the future with optimism.

The vineyards owned by the Cusumano winery cover about 520 hectares. An immense area, which can be grouped around the four reference estates in the area: San Giacomo, in the province of Caltanisetta, Ficuzza in the province of Palermo, Presti and Pegni, on the hills of Monreale and Partinico. Each area has a particular microclimate, and lends itself to the cultivation of specific vines. In general, the winery is dedicated to both international and native varieties, from Nero d'Avola to Merlot, from Syrah to Catarratto, also passing through Insolia, Pinot Nero, Moscato, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and many others. Territory and identity are the fundamental words during the production process of each bottle, and, both in the vineyard and in the cellar, we try to keep intact the unique characteristics of the grapes grown, without upsetting what mother nature has granted during the vintage.

Cusumano offers every year an articulated range of wines, to say the least, ranging from blends to monovarietals, up to bubbles. There are many territorial expressions included in each label, each with its value and its history, capable of giving emotions by telling the passion and proactive spirit of Diego and Alberto. A cellar where quality and quantity they manage to travel towards the same goals, making us discover the essence of Sicilian wines.
