Tormaresca Antinori
Composed of two large estates: "Bocca di Lupo", a shining example of an ancient restored farmhouse in the middle of the Murgia and "Masseria Maime," in the province of Brindisi, with a wonderful forest framing the historic structure and the technological winery, the company since 1998 sees its "mind" in the firm management of the holding "Marchesi Antinori Spa."
However, for operational and production roles, the use of local staff, helps to ensure continuity with a winemaking tradition strongly rooted in the territory; at the same time, the constant managerial presence provides to dictate very precise guidelines so that Tormaresca is part of a much larger corporate body in philosophy and quality.
Different sides of the same coin formed by a total of 450 hectares: the estate Bocca di Lupo sees its own vineyard, featuring organically certified native and international vines, spread over soils rich in tufa, and represents the minority share of the estate's holdings.
Masseria Maime, host to the remainder of the vineyards on red soils, applies - on the other hand - conventional agricultural management while still placing particular interest in respecting environmental sustainability.
The Marchesi tract Antinori is as evident as that of territory and tradition. Not a step forward of either soul. Residing in this fundamental aspect is the success of a range of wines that are qualitative, refined and territorial at the same time.
