A long path of research carried out for years by the winery "Sella & Mosca", leads today to results such as "Catore", Torbato di Alghero that encompasses a territorial imprint as no other label is able to do. After the harvest, which is usually carried out during the first days of October, vinification is conducted in a way that is never invasive, with a view to exalting all the peculiar characteristics of the fruit, season and soil. Aging partly in steel and partly in new barriques completes the picture of a Sardinian white that is truly a masterpiece: it is a Torbato that leaves you breathless.
Tasting Notes.: It offers to the eye a beautiful bright straw yellow. The nose develops on typical Mediterranean scents, with hints of pear and chamomile to follow. Multifaceted and savory the sip, vertical and dynamic, fresh and with a long persistence.
Pairings: Perfect for pairing with seafood cuisine, it is excellent together with canocchie and mussel soup.
