Syrah is a grape variety that is highly loaded with polyphenols, the presence of which is most evident in the deep dark red color of the wine produced. In addition, it is rich in primary aromas that impart the typical scents of underbrush, balsamic notes and licorice. The name given to the Cartagloria wine refers to the ancient liturgical tables, placed on the altar, one in the center and two on either side bearing formulas to be recited during Mass. Cartagloria were placed on the sacred altars of pilgrimage routes placed at the end of a Sacrocolle.
