The Terre Siciliane Syrah IGT "Syraco" signed Baglio di Pianetto wants to be, in its name, a tribute to the warm southeast wind of the ancient city of Syracuse. Aged in French oak barriques for 12 months and then left to rest in the bottle for another 24, it is an intense wine with great texture, enveloping and throbbing. Must try.
Tasting Notes: Intense ruby red. Rich and complex on the nose; expresses itself with hints of small red fruits, toasted notes and strong tones of pepper and cinnamon. The palate presents good body, right sapidity and silky tannins. Persistent.
Pairings: Excellent with wild boar stew and rabbit alla cacciatora, goes well with grilled meats.
