Tasting Notes: In the glass it develops a straw-yellow hue, conditioned by slight greenish reflections, which are evident in the rim. The olfactory spectrum revolves around notes where citrus and herbs alternate with nuances of white-fleshed fruit. On the palate it is light-bodied, lively and streamlined, with a refreshing sip of pleasant drinkability, from which a slight savory texture also emerges.

Pairings: This is an extremely versatile wine, ready to drink immediately, as an aperitif or throughout a meal. It is at its best with fish and shellfish dishes. Try it with spaghetti with seafood.

ConsiderationsA wine with a clear modern style, in which freshness and drinkability are the key to a satisfying taste experience. This is how the Grillo interpreted by Tasca d'Almerita winery in Tenuta Sallier de La Tour, a Sicilia DOC where the aromatic component dominates. Once the berries reach the winemaking facilities, they ferment for 15 days in steel containers at a controlled temperature of 16 degrees, without carrying out malolactic fermentation. The wine then remains to mature, again in steel, for 4 months, in contact with the fine lees. Very versatile, it is perfect to accompany everyday dishes.
