Mompertone comes from vineyards in the Monferrato area, resting on calcareous, clayey soil with widespread sandy veins, capable of giving the wine an enveloping taste, characterized by soft, elegant tannins. Deep ruby red with purple highlights. The nose is rich in fruit: hints of plum and cherry combine with notes of violets, spices and coffee. The palate is enveloping, rich with soft, elegant and persistent tannins.
