Tasting Notes: In the goblet it has a beautiful vibrant garnet color. The nose propagates very varietal aromas, characterized by olfactory waves reminiscent of red fruit. In the mouth it is rich, full, with well-worked tannins. It closes with a long finish.
Pairings: Excellent with earthy menus, it goes well with traditional Trentino dishes, such as speck dumplings. A knockout with mixed grills, it is a must-try with game.
Considerations: Lagrein is an indigenous grape variety of Alto Adige capable of producing great red wines: in this interesting interpretation provided by Erste + Neue, the more varietal aromas of this grape stand out, combined with a firm and important structure. The berries, rigorously selected to represent only the best of the terroir of origin, ferment in steel and then mature slowly in large oak barrels. A Lagrein DOC to be tasted without delay, to be won over after just a few sips.
