Tasting Notes: Visual examination shows a ruby red color. Dried flowers and cherry jam alternate on the nose with deeper sensations, from which notes of tobacco and leather emerge. The palate is round, full-bodied, endowed with good structure, marked by a savory texture that invites drinking.
Pairings: An extremely pleasant wine for the whole meal, perfect in accompaniment with earthy menus. Absolutely must try with a nice legume soup.
Considerations: The grape that has always identified Regaleali Estate is, without a doubt, the perricone. An autochthonous Sicilian red berry, over the years its cultivation has been increased by the winery's ownership, which has always enhanced its peculiarities, until today, with this "Guarnaccio," Sicilia DOC that gives the palate a satisfying and flowing drink at the same time. The grapes, grown in a plot of about two and a half hectares, once harvested ferment in stainless steel tanks, at a temperature between 25 and 30 degrees, macerating with the skins for 13 days. Aging takes place in French oak barrels of second and third passage, and lasts 12 months. Perricone is synonymous with quality for the Tasca d'Almerita group, and this label is proof positive: try it to believe.
