It tells us as few other wines can, what is the truest and deepest identity of the terroir from which it comes. The Fiano di Avellino "Radici" produced by Mastroberardino is a white wine from Irpinia that originates at an altitude of more than 500 meters above sea level, and is processed and aged exclusively in steel, and then refined in the bottle for about four months before release. It is a Fiano that like a mosaic has all the tiles in place, neat and precise. It is a truly well-made Fiano di Avellino.
Tasting Notes.: It presents itself to the glass as a beautiful bright straw yellow. On the nose it hints at floral notes of acacia and hawthorn, followed by fruity tones of pear and pineapple. Citrusy grapefruit references complete the picture on the nose. The drink is fresh but balanced at the same time, with good length.
Pairings: Perfect with shellfish and legumes, we recommend it in combination with good red prawns on chickpea velouté.
