The estate Bel Colle is located in the municipality of Verduno, in the northernmost area of the appellation Barolo. The cru Monvigliero has been known for centuries for the extraordinary elegance of its wines. The vineyards are located in the center of a wonderful natural amphitheater facing southwest, which favors perfect ripening of the Nebbiolo grapes. After harvesting operations are completed, the best grapes are fermented with maceration on the skins. The wine matures for about 3 years in oak or chestnut barrels and finishes aging in the bottle.
Tasting Notes.: It has a garnet color and a bouquet with aromas of red fruits, plums, cherries and black pepper. With good structure, it is distinguished by velvety tannins and a harmonious and persistent sip, closing on fresh and balsamic notes.
Pairings: Pair with game and braised meats.
