La Barbera Superiore Le Masche of Bel Colle is born in the hills of Verduno, a small Piedmontese village not far from Barolo. After harvesting operations are completed, the grapes are fermented in steel vats, where the skins macerate in contact with the must for 8 days. This is followed by a period of aging in French oak tonneaux and large barrels (12 hl) for 12 months and a short bottle aging.
Tasting Notes.: In the goblet it has an intense ruby red color. The nose reveals aromas of red fruits and spicy notes. The sip is warm and intense, with a pleasant finish.
Pairings: To be paired with roasted and stewed meats.
