Villa Sandi's Valdobbiadene Superiore di Cartizze Dry DOCG is made from pure glera grapes grown on the famous hill. Cartizze is a unique place for viticulture, thanks to the special climatic conditions and soil composition. After a soft pressing of the clusters, the must is placed to ferment in stainless steel at a controlled temperature. The base wines are aged for several months in steel and then transferred to autoclaves for the second fermentation in accordance with the Martinotti method. Wrap-around, structure and aromaticity are the hallmarks of this elegant sparkling wine.
Tasting Notes.: Straw yellow with greenish reflections traversed by a fine perlage. Intense nose with notes of wisteria flowers, golden apple and mango. In the mouth, the elegant envelopment is enlivened by citrus freshness and creamy effervescence.
Pairings: Excellent at aperitif time, it is the ideal wine for a ginger salmon tartare and sushi.
