The "Bandarossa" takes its name from the original mark that Giuliano Bortolomiol used to draw on the best batch of Prosecco Valdobbiadene Extra Dry produced in the vintage, and then share it only with his closest friends. The winery's qualitative heights are thus touched with this Superiore DOCG, whose rich aromas on the nose serve as a prelude to a fresh and appropriately savory mouthfeel. The glera grapes ferment at a controlled temperature in steel, then undergo the "presa di spuma" and remain to age for a variable period, between 1 and 3 months. A label with which one always goes on the safe side, whether at informal aperitifs or on important occasions: the essential thing is to always have a good supply.
Tasting notes: On visual examination it is a beautiful bright straw yellow, with reflections tending to greenish; the bubbles are subtle and persistent. The aromas on the nose recall golden apple, white peach, pear, mulberry and flowers. On the palate it is creamy, very fresh, characterized by a really inviting savory taste.
Pairings: Perfect for a classy aperitif, where it stylishly accompanies different types of canapés and finger foods. Also excellent throughout a meal in combination with delicate fish dishes, such as marinated salmon trout.
