Considerations: One of the most recent novelties within the range offered by Tasca d'Almerita is the "Tefra," Etna Rosè which originates within the Tascante Estate. A pure Nerello Mascalese, it takes shape from terraced vines placed on volcanic sediments and exposed to the north. After harvesting, the berries are pressed directly, and fermentation takes place in white. Pleasant and fragrant, it is an excellent passe-partout for the table, especially when the menu is inspired by fish recipes.
Tasting Notes: To the eye, it shows a transparent pink color, not too intense. The scents that envelop the nose recall fruity scents, enriched by a hint of minerality. It enters the mouth with a decidedly fresh, mineral sip that flows with ease.
Pairings: It goes well with fish tartare and seafood risottos; it is also more than good with baked fish main courses.
