Tasting Notes: It presents itself to the eye with a typically straw color. The scents that envelop the nose tell of aromatic notes, from which touches of pink grapefruit, capers, peach and ripe pear emerge. The palate is light-bodied, subtle and delicate, with a sip from which a slight sapid streak emerges.
Pairings: Perfect throughout a meal, it goes well with fish menus. Absolutely must try with a good risotto alla marinara.
Considerations: Catarratto is the typical wine of the area surrounding Tenuta Regaleali, a winery owned by the Tasca d'Almerita family. It is in fact a grape variety traditionally grown in these areas, which the estate interprets in a classic way with the Sicilia DOC "Buonsenso." Once harvested, the grapes ferment for 18 days in stainless steel tanks, at a temperature between 14 and 16 degrees, without carrying out malolactic fermentation. Aging takes place in steel tanks, where the wine remains in contact with the yeasts for 4 months, until bottling. An aromatic label, involving elegant aromas and smooth drinking: a must try.
