Fina's Viognier Vola Vola is made from a French white grape variety recently imported to Sicily, where it has succeeded in achieving excellent results. The Viognier variety grapes are harvested at the end of August. Vinification is carried out traditionally in white, concluding with a 6-month aging in glass before subsequent release.
Tasting Notes.: Straw yellow in color, it manifests characteristic aromas of exotic fruit and citrus on the nose. The palate reveals itself to be intense and mineral, with a pleasant hint of aromatic herbs accompanying towards a finish of great breadth and elegance.
Pairings: Perfect as an aperitif, it can accompany shellfish and fatty fish such as salmon and mackerel. It is magnificent with pasta salads, but also with white meats and sushi.
