The Sicilia Rosso DOC "ViaFrancia - Riserva" signed Baglio di Pianetto was born with the intention of affirming, even more, the French vocation of the winery; moreover, Via Francia is also the road that runs through the winery and therefore this wine wants to be, also, an opportunity to give further voice to the native territory. The imprint is distinctly French, both because of the variety chosen and because of the soil-vine interactions that Tenuta di Pianetto in Santa Cristina Gela manages to ensure, and the wine proves to be of fine quality, rich on the nose and surprisingly persuasive.

Tasting Notes: Excellent paired with meaty first courses, it also goes well with red meat main courses.
