The Valpolicella Superiore The Red of the line. Télos by Sant'Antonio comes from vineyards located in Monte Garbi, in the Veronese municipality of Mezzane di Sotto.
It is mainly produced with Corvina grapes and with Rondinella, Croatina and Oseleta grapes, harvested and selected solely by hand in the second week of September. After soft pressing in total absence of oxygen, fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, without any addition of sulfites. The wine then ages for 12 months in new and second-passage French oak barrels.
Rosso di Sant'Antonio shows a ruby-purple color. The nose opens with a fine and complex bouquet, with hints of dried flowers such as violets and iris, enriched by notes of roasted coffee, ripe red and black berry fruit. The palate is dry and warm, quite soft, with excellent persistence.
Perfect for accompanying first courses with elaborate sauces, grilled red meats, roasts and braised meats, this red wine is ideal with game and non-spicy aged cheeses.
