The territory of Menfi, thanks to its unique characteristics, has been able to accommodate over time a large number of very different varieties. Red and white grape varieties that have found in this area the ideal conditions for perfect ripening, from which Mandrarossa is able to produce wines of great personality and elegance. For example, syrah prefers soils characterized by very fine red sands, rich in iron, which recall the sands of the deserts and give the wine an intense color and great body. This is how this red wine was born, the result of vinification in steel tanks only, capable of accompanying the most diverse dishes in a succession of suggestions of sure charm.
Tasting Notes: Dark and intense ruby red with violet hues. The nose expresses fruity and floral scents, in which notes of carob, figs and traces of elderflower and lavender are perceived. On the palate the intensity of flavors corresponds to the aromas perceived on the nose in a whole of great harmony.
Pairings: Throughout a meal, it goes well with grilled vegetables, semi-mature cheeses, baked pasta with meat sauce, roast veal.
