From the sunniest slice of the Tignanello hill and its best plot. The rest is passion, care, attention and research. This is how Solaia was born, made from the choicest cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc and sangiovese grapes from the vineyard of the same name. A legendary wine, perhaps the most famous Supertuscan in the world, a red that is aged in barriques for about 12 months and for an additional year in the bottle before it is released. A deep and elegant red, capable of astonishing longevity.

Tasting Notes.Intense ruby red, the nose reveals intense warm notes of ripe red fruit and spice accompanied by deep floral notes. The palate is persuasive, rich, enveloping and sweet thanks to the presence of ready, thick and soft tannins. The balance between freshness and body contributes to an excellent expression in flavor and a long and extremely pleasant taste persistence.

PairingsThroughout a meal, it is exalted with rich first courses, including mushroom-based ones. Excellent with roasts and braised meats.
