Gschleier is certainly one of the most renowned South Tyrolean viticultural areas. In fact, our vineyards boast between 80 and 110 years of age, a uniqueness in South Tyrolean viticulture. The vineyards are located at an elevation of 450 m above sea level, on soils of limestone, clay and gravelly conformation. The position and exposure of the slope ensure optimal sunshine, which results in a full-bodied wine with great aging potential.

Tasting notes: It dresses the glass a beautiful ruby red, clear and bright to the eye. The nose is aromatic and delicate, characterized by hints reminiscent of small berries, then followed by a subtle spiciness. The taste is velvety and smooth, with good balance and equally good persistence.

Pairings: It can also be drunk throughout a meal with courses of earthy cuisine, and is excellent with chanterelle risotto.
