Merlot del Veneto 2021 Igt - Allegrini Corte Giara

La Corte Giara winery of Veneto, produces, respecting the ancient traditions and expressions of terroir, this sensational Merlot wine from the Veneto. It boasts the IGT appellation of the Veronese hill district, and is produced with only grapes from Merlot, vinified 100% pure. The soils on which the vines are grown are of medium texture tending to limestone, and the training system used is the "Spalliera" system. Vinification after manual harvesting of the grapes, which is carried out in the first week of September, involves the soft pressing of the entire bunch. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, and subsequent aging involves spending about 4 months in steel, then a further 2 months in bottle.
