An absolute rarity is the Vietti wooden box from 6 bottles with one bottle each of the great Barolo crus from the top 2019 vintage: an almost magical collection of strictly limited bubbles.

"A symbolic dance between ever-changing sensory impressions and nuances, following an expressive freedom that only the best wines can and know how to transform into pure pleasure. This is what 'Let's dance' means to us." ELENA and LUCA CURRADO VIETTI

Each high-quality wooden 6-piece box contains:

1 bottle 0.75l | Barolo Rocche di Castiglione DOCG 2019

The very powerful Rocche di Castiglione is often referred to as the first "official" cru in Langa history (along with Bussia di Prunotto, both released with the 1961 vintage). With the 2019 edition, it is once again confirmed as the great classic of the house. Dark fruits, squeezed lilac, blood orange, powdered licorice, balsamic herbs, spices, iron ore and anise fit together perfectly like puzzle pieces. The palate then is lush and impetuous, with silky tannins and great depth and resonance that will continue to develop with time.

"This is one of my favorite wines from Castiglione Falletto. Vietti's 2019 Barolo Rocche di Castiglione is beautifully etched and sharp, with a particularly delineated quality that is unusual in this vintage. The fruit comes from a small 8,000-square-foot parcel and, like the other wines in Vietti's Cru series, is aged for two years in oak barrels. The wine's structure is beautifully smooth and polished thanks to carefully integrated tannins. Only 3,693 bottles were produced." WINE ADVOCATE

1 bottle 0.75l | Barolo Lazzarito DOCG 2019

"An expression of elegance at Serralunga," Luca Currado remarked at the Lazzarito tasting, and already on the nose we agree with him. Gravel, pebbles, red fruits, rose petals, lavender and sage permeate this plastic and very lively Barolo di Serralunga. Barolos from Serralunga d'Alba are often in a category of their own because of their richness and abundance of fruit. The balsamic symphony opens the door to a sip that is undoubtedly powerful, but at the same time refreshing and full of vitamins. With the addition of aeration, Lazzarito delivers mint and balsamic herbs. The Lazzarito dictates the pace and never loses it, the great texture of the tannins ideally complements this palate spectacle, and we will discover much more about this great Barolo in the years to come.

"Barolo Lazzarito 2019 represents Vietti's interpretation of Serralunga d'Alba, the village often associated with the appellation's most powerful wines. Lazzarito completes its second fermentation in barrels for three months and is then transferred to large oak bottles where it ages for another two years. With about 8,000 bottles produced in this lesser vintage, the wine is very indicative of its geographical origin, with dense black fruit, rusty nail, blood orange and earth. Compared to the other wines in this series, this wine offers more persistent tannins. It is still a bit salty and spicy now, but lends itself well to long aging." WINE ADVOCATE

1 bottle 0.75l | Barolo Brunate DOCG 2019

Luca Currado grows Cru Brunate on the side of La Morra (opposite Barolo) and this wine contains fruit from new plots. It convinces with an impressive aroma of red berries, cherries, wild herbs, mint, minerals and rose petals, rounded by a hint of blood orange. On the palate we find incredible softness and textural silkiness, which continues with notes of mint, licorice and camphor ash for many minutes. Smooth tannins complete this masterpiece in an extremely elegant Brunate.

"The 2019 medium-bodied Barolo Brunate with fruit from La Morra shows a lovely softness and a delicate side with dried roses, lilacs and blue flowers. The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in barriques and is then aged in large oak barrels. This double treatment with oak is part of Vietti's secret recipe for creating the silky tannins and fine texture tasted here. The wine, of which 4,493 bottles will be produced, has a distinctive aromatic finish reminiscent of licorice and balsamic herbs." WINE ADVOCATE

1 bottle 0.75l | Barolo Ravera DOCG 2019

Vietti's Ravera is one of the great Piedmont protagonists for precision and structure. It uses Novello fruit, from a site overlooking the castle of the same name on the hill in the distance. This wine offers impeccable balance between nose and mouth, showing immense purity and power in one package. Rose petals, chalk, pepper and a hint of pomegranate make this Barolo one of the most sought after in the appellation each year. With some aging, the powerful tannins give way to an impression of elegance that does not deviate one iota from the coveted style of this great vineyard. A monument of Barolo that only a few other producers in Piedmont, besides Vietti and Giacosa, bottle so consistently!

"Vietti is one of the few wineries to have brought Novello's Ravera MGA to its current popularity. Their 2019 Barolo Ravera has a smoky personality with traces of gravel and pencil. There are lots of dark fruits in the background, especially ripe cherries and blackberries, and the wine is powerful and solid in terms of structure and tannins. The Ravera is a wine of enormous length and finely calibrated structure. Exactly 7,560 bottles were produced." WINE ADVOCATE

1 bottle 0.75l | Barolo Monvigliero DOCG 2019

The second novelty of the 2019 vintage is Vietti's Barolo Monvigliero. The special feature: about 60% of the grapes are not destemmed, which enhances the wine's aromatic nuances. Youthful notes of raspberry and blueberry are joined by black pepper, gentian, porcelain and black olives. The palate has a soft, bewitching texture, fine and creamy, supported by wonderful floral and bay leaf aromas. Monvigliero impresses with its purity, serenity and class. Excellent.

"Here is a very special treat from Verduno and one of the most interesting new wines we will see in Italy this year. Vietti's 2019 Barolo Monvigliero is made for the first time with 60 percent whole grapes, following an ancient local tradition. Monvigliero's soils are loose and light, producing dense but full-bodied wines. The use of whole grapes gives the wine more texture, intensity and tannins. With aromas of berries, roses, dried mint and white licorice, and very fine, soft tannins, this wine is part of a valuable production of 3,207 bottles." WINE ADVOCATE

1 bottle 0.75l | Barolo Cerequio DOCG 2019

The 2019 vintage marks the exciting debut of Vietti's Barolo from one of Piedmont's most famous vineyards, featuring exuberant aromas and bright, red fruit. The bouquet is enormously opulent with ripe fruit aromas ranging from wild cherry to red currant. These are complemented by original tones of jam, plum and a hint of ragout. The palate is nuanced and very deep, with enormous complexity, volume and character. Vietti's Cerequio amazes right from the start!

"Here is an exciting new presentation from Vietti. The 2019 Barolo Cerequio is beautiful, with a broad and rich bouquet that paints a panoramic view of this MGA encompassing the villages of La Morra and Barolo. Despite this broad vision, this wine also stands out for its subtle aromas of wild cherry, gravel and black licorice. Cerequio is a wine of great breadth and depth. Subtle tannins contribute to a complete whole. Only 4,925 bottles were produced of this first release. Congratulations." WINE ADVOCATE
