Classicism about native grape varieties is our guiding thread, and this wine best expresses this estate philosophy of ours. A niche, extremely honest Barolo that does not respond to the dictates of artificiality but rather to the rigorous, no-frills simplicity that characterizes great old-style Barolo. The Vignane cru, in the commune of Barolo, is positioned specularly to the Cannubi and is characterized by a calcareous clay soil. Its good exposure combined with the age of the planting, more than 40 years old, give this Barolo qualities of extraordinary elegance and at the same time majesty, which make it capable of extraordinary evolutions as the years go by.
