Terre degli Svevi - Re Manfredi The great synthesis of Vulture: rich, deep and structured wines.

Re Manfredi was born in 1998 in the heart of the production area of theAglianico del Vulture DOC, a few kilometers from Venosa, a town illustrious for being the birthplace in 65 B.C. of the Latin poet Horace. An elegant and welcoming masseria towers at the center of the property, which covers more than 100 hectares of Guyot and spurred cordon vineyards.

Next to the masseria is the modern and dynamic Re Manfredi winery, a unique facility in the area that has a crushing line with grape selection, new wooden and steel presses and winemakers, and small containers that allow the separate vinification of grapes from different vineyards so as to preserve their peculiarities. The new facility also boasts a vault that houses 1,600 bottles of historic vintages, dating back to 1998.

The new barrel cellar buried 7 meters deep houses about 200 barriques for aging Aglianico as well as alternative containers such as amphorae, clayver and oeufs de Beaune containers used to test different winemaking techniques. The winery is also equipped with a photovoltaic system for self-generation of sustainable solar energy
