Tasting Notes: Straw yellow with golden highlights. The nose expresses very broad notes of apricots, yellow peaches, white flowers, spices and honey. The palate combines a sweet intensity with a pleasant freshness before a very persistent finish.
Pairings: Also as an aperitif, it goes well with rich raw fish appetizers. Ideal for a sushi dinner.
Considerations: Gurra is the local name used to refer to a small stream that flows into the sea and is one of the elements that most characterize the landscape of this area of Sicily. The very origin of the name gurra, which some refer to Greek, others to Arabic, testifies to the fact that we are in a land that throughout its history has been a meeting point of different worlds and cultures. It is here, not far from Portopalo, in the province of Syracuse, that Tirsat was born, a blend of chardonnay and viogner, the first wine from the Castellare di Castellina group's new winery. A white wine of great charm, intense and fine, fresh and of sure harmony, perfect for discovering this beautiful area of Sicily.
