The estate's flagship wine born in 1985, Ornellaia is the result of a careful selection of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot vineyards grown on the estate. Intense ruby red. The nose reveals intense fruit, fully ripe but at the same time fresh and vibrant, underlined by delicate balsamic and toasted notes. In the mouth impresses great concentration with an imposing tannic structure, but particularly velvety and smooth allowing the wine to expand throughout the mouth without leaving any heaviness. The finish lingers with balsamic and spicy notes and a welcome note of freshness.
