Interpreted in an immediate and disengaged version, this Lagrein from Girlan tells us about the most essential Alto Adige, the natural and no-frills one, in which the terroir is always put in the foreground. Vinified in stainless steel and left to rest for eight months in large oak barrels and concrete tanks, this is a Lagrein that keeps its fruity character well in mind, offering a sip that is both easy to understand and satisfying at the same time. With cheeses and with meaty second courses, it is a Lagrein that always goes well.

Tasting Notes.: Deep ruby red is the color at the glass. On the nose it first lets you perceive floral hints of violets, then enriched by a crisp fruity texture reminiscent of plums and berries. On the palate it turns out to be full-bodied, well balanced and characterized by the classic "sour" vein. Good length as well.

Pairing: To be paired with meat-based second courses, it is ideal to accompany grilled baby chicken.
