Terminum comes from gewürztraminer grapes from the vineyards of Sella, a locality above Tramin, at an altitude of 400 to 500 meters above sea level. The grapes were harvested in December, when overripe, to encourage greater sugar concentration and development of noble rot. Maceration for 12 hours and fermentation and maturation in French oak barrels. Residual sugars 196 g/l.
Tasting notes.: To the eye, the wine is bright golden yellow. The nose gives intense aromas of yellow-fleshed fruit and white flowers, with sweet nuances of honey and cinnamon. On the palate, the sip is soft, round and enveloping. The finish is persistent, elegant and harmonious.
Pairings: Terminum pairs wonderfully with dry pastries, fruit salads or dried fruit. Sublime with blue cheeses or foie gras.
