Fashion Victim Moscato Rosè NV - Astoria

Fashion Victim Moscato Rosè is produced in the highest wine-growing areas of Friuli Venezia Giulia, in the cellars of Astoria, which, with its brand and trademark, is known internationally for its excellent, competitively priced proseccos. Founded in 1987 by a family of winemakers, it has made technological innovation and set-up. In its evolution, Astoria has sought to diversify itself from other wineries through the creation of highly sophisticated labels and bottles. Faceted and distinctive lines go well with the products, giving a sensory analysis that starts with sight and culminates in harmony with smell and taste. Made from Moscato and Malvasia Nera grapes, Fashion Victim Moscato Rosé is the child of Val de Brun estate vineyards that are about 15 to 18 years old. Harvested in the early morning hours to maintain the chemical/organoleptic characteristics of the grapes that will give the final product its sweet flavor and peach and sage aftertaste. Upon arrival at the winery, the grapes are softly pressed and the must obtained brought to a low temperature that it will maintain until the end of vinification. It is vinified as a white wine in thermostatically controlled vessels, allowing the intense and delicate aroma of the grapes to be transmitted to the wine as well. A short period of maceration in contact with the skins of the Malvasia Nera takes place in autoclave Charmat method before the wine is given its typical pink color.

Tasting Notes.: Fine perlage expressing itself in dense and persistent fontanelle. Bright pink color. The nose is intense, fruity and with the typical scents of Muscat grapes. Clear notes of peach, strawberry and berries. In the mouth it is delicately sweet and aromatic.
