Juicy and bright, fresh and fragrant, the Kaltern-branded Chardonnay is a white that really suits us all the time, great to uncork for aperitifs and excellent to accompany a nice lunch with friends. A child of the lands of Alto Adige, it comes from a vineyard cultivated at about 400 meters above sea level, and is left to mature for four months in steel on fine lees.
With fish and particularly with seafood first courses, this is a Chardonnay you will go well with.
Tasting Notes: it presents a beautiful straw yellow color to the eye. The nose opens on fresh reminiscences of white flowers, then clearly sets on fruity notes recalling Williams pear in particular. The mouth is fragrant and full-bodied, flowing at the same time and traversed by a pleasant minerality. Good length.
Pairings: excellent with seafood first courses, it is to be tried in combination with linguine with mussels.
