Amarone della Valpolicella 2016 Bolla Le Poiane is the princely red wine of the Veneto region, made from Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella grapes grown exclusively using the traditional Veronese pergola system in the winery's estate vineyards. The grapes that make up Amarone Le Poiane come exclusively from the most suitable vineyards, there where the definition "Classico" is allowed to be added. Around mid-September, the bunches are harvested manually and a subsequent selection of the best grapes is made, which, will be dried for a few months on mats. Subsequently, the bunches are sent to a traditional red wine-making process which will be followed by a period of aging in French oak barriques for a period of about 36 to 48 months and a further 9 months in the bottle before being marketed. Amarone della Valpolicella Le Poiane is a great classic of the Veronese appellation, with great history and elegance, perfect as a meditation wine and on roasted meats..
