Pinot Nero

Pinot Noir is considered the noblest grape variety in the world among the red berried ones. It is one of the so-called "international" vines with French origins even though it is now grown everywhere. In Italy it is grown mainly in the Oltrepò Pavese, in Trentino, Friuli and Veneto. Pinot Noir is a difficult vine both in terms of cultivation and vinification since the results vary from year to year. It is also very sensitive to the territory in which it is grown, so it is also possible to obtain different executions based on the area in which it is produced. The leaves of the Pinot Nero vine are medium in size with a trilobate and orbicular shape, while the cluster is compact, cylindrical in shape. The fairly small berries have a spherical shape with a pruinose and thin bluish skin. On Vinolog24 you will find a wide selection of Pinot Nero wine that stands out for its light, ruby red color, while the taste releases fruity notes and despite being quite full-bodied it is endowed with great elegance.
