"Zìnzula" from Masseria Altemura is a tribute to the most beautiful of Salento's caves: the Zìnzulusa. It is made from Negroamaro grapes harvested in mid-September, at the crack of dawn; produced from drained must, in total absence of maceration, it is a very delicate pink and preserves all the freshest varietal notes. It is a sleek and sinuous tasting Rosé, created to celebrate the splendor of the Apulian coast.
Tasting Notes: Powdery color, soft and delicate. The nose is pleasantly broad; floral hints of rosehips, notes of black cherry and hints of pink pepper, ginger and turmeric stand out. The palate is slender, fresh, with pleasant acidity; it closes with a firm minerality.
Pairings: Excellent with fish crudites, fried seafood, mussel and clam sauté and vegetable timbale, it also goes well with some ethnic dishes, such as pad thai.
