In a land where dark grape varieties dominate, and where white grapes come to cover just 10 percent of total wine production, it is the variety of the vermentino the one that - precisely among white grapes - has taken root the most over time, capable as it is of providing more than pleasant satisfaction.
Labeled "Field of Comets," this Vermentino is a Tuscan white that you will find simply excellent. Exalted in what are the peculiarities of fruit and terroir, it is processed exclusively in steel, and offers a fresh and mineral sip, rich in the sapidity that the vines absorb from the breezes blowing in from the nearby Tyrrhenian Sea.
With seafood, with shellfish, with risottos and with fish in general, it is a Vermentino with which one is always on the safe side.
Tasting notes: by. g colorstraw yellow clear color, with subtle greenish highlights at the glass. The nose is perfumed and aromatic, characterized by scents reminiscent of medlar and grapefruit, then enriched by nuances of sage and mineral and herbaceous tones. The palate is fruity like the nose, smooth and balanced, with good persistence.
Pairings: dto pair with fish appetizers, shellfish or seafood entrees, it is excellent with risotto alla pescatora.
