In the deepest heart of Sicily, where summers are hot and winters mild, Duca di Salaparuta chooses to cultivate a grape variety beloved throughout Italy: Vermentino. From this variety comes "Sentiero del Vento," using only steel tanks to preserve its characteristics. Its aromas of Mediterranean scrub and broad, velvety palate, enlivened by freshness and minerality, give an unprecedented interpretation of the grape variety and embody the desire to travel new paths.
Tasting notes: Straw yellow with greenish highlights. Intense nose, combining fruity sensations with suggestions of Mediterranean scrub. Ample, velvety palate, endowed with a pleasant freshness that is reinforced by sapidity.
Pairings: White wine to pair with first and second courses of seafood cuisine, also excellent with delicate white meats and sushi.
