This wine owes its name to the 15th-century Castello Quadrio di Chiuro, home of the Nino Negri winery. It belonged to Stefano Quadrio, governor of Valtellina in the 15th century. Ruby red with garnet highlights. The nose is ethereal, with aromas of small fruits, accompanied by hints of raspberries and violets. On the palate the wine is full, dry, vigorous.
