Nino Negri's celebrated flagship wine is made from a selection of the best grapes and only in the best vintages. Grapes of only Nebbiolo, hand-picked in the most vocated vineyards of the Valtellina Superiore areas, after natural drying for 3 months, are vinified "in red" with a long maceration. Deep garnet red. Fresh aroma reminiscent of balsamic hints (mint, eucalyptus) that then fades into scents of bread crust, licorice root, dried hay, cocoa, black pepper, prunes and dried figs. The flavor is concentrated, vigorous with vanilla notes and noticeable tannins that pleasantly satisfy the palate.
