There is Schiava and Schiava, but when the name on the label is that of Schiava "Römigberg" from "Alois Lageder," then you can be sure that the best wine excellence from the Vineyards of the Dolomites will be served to you on a silver platter. It comes from Demeter-certified organic and biodynamic viticulture, is left to ferment in wood with long maceration on the skins, and rests part in wood and part in steel for six months. It is an all-round Schiava: marry it to pizza with speck and mushrooms and it will give you guaranteed satisfaction.

Tasting NotesRuby red color to the eye, with delicate purple highlights. Hints of plum and small red berries in general open the nose, then also distinguished by floral notes and hints of flint. Flowing and medium-bodied the palate, as fruity as the nose and of good length.

PairingsVersatile in pairings, it is excellent with pizza with speck and mushrooms.
