Tasting Notes: Shows a beautiful straw yellow color to the glass. The olfactory bouquet is opened by notes of gooseberry and exotic fruit, then enriched by hints of elderberry and vegetable and herbaceous nuances. The palate is fresh and supported by a nice mineral texture, crisp and fruity like the nose, with good length.
Pairings: If chosen for aperitifs, it is excellent paired with fresh goat cheese.
Considerations: Its aromas speak of summer and sunshine, its flavors tell of exotic and tropical stories. Kaltern-branded Sauvignon is a fine expression of the best winemaking in the lands of Alto Adige. Fermented at a controlled temperature, it faces a five-month rest period in steel tanks on fine lees. It is a Sauvignon that goes well in the classic pairing with asparagus, but you can also try it with grilled vegetables, sardines or mackerel. If you choose it together with fresh goat cheese, there goes the aperitif.
