It is with the line of "classics" that Cantina di Terlano expresses the essence ofAlto Adige and its many nuances. White and red wines always characterized by a particular freshness and fragrance, rich in complexity and unique in elegance. In the past, questuvaggio tradizionale, made from the two indigenous grape varieties schiava and lagrein, not only held a leading role in South Tyrolean wine production but was also one of Italy's best-known reds. Terlan's Alto Adige Santa Maddalena DOC "Tradition" is a wine named after the village of Santa Maddalena on the outskirts of Bolzano, and with its elegance and fruity notes it perfectly represents that finesse that characterizes all of Terlan's production.

Tasting Notes: Light ruby red, the nose expresses fruity notes reminiscent of elderberry and cherry flanked by hints of bitter almond and violet. On the palate it is fresh, soft and elegant, characterized by a calibrated acidity and a very fragrant finish.

Pairings: Also as an aperitif, it goes well with typical South Tyrolean dishes such as speck and bresaola, as well as venison carne salada with pickled mushrooms and fresh cheese mousse.
